Inspirations- Classical Art

My artistic inspiration can come from very different places. Sometimes it is from a song or a color or a person passing by. My subject matter for my artwork is usually the human form, so I try to look at objects (and people) and wonder how can I transform them into my style of exaggerated figures. Here are few shots from the Kimbell Museum of Art in Fort Worth Texas. Enjoy!

As an artist I try to look at classic works of art and try to envision it in various ways. This sculptures' position makes me envision a second person in which she is resisting.
