Montreal Masterpieces

I have been blessed to be able to travel to many different cultures and something that is always similar is the religious structures in the main parts of a city. Here a re a few pics of some religous structures in Montreal. Being born and raised in New Orleans, I feel connected as an artist to archaic structures which in most cases are religious. From Spain to Bangkok to Toulouse and here pictured in Montreal, there is no escaping the  intricate details of traditional religious structures.

Although it is said that it is not the structure that is important to worship, the message is what's most important; one can't help but think a/o wonder if the importance of the message is what created such detailed structures.

From a side view you can see a little bit more detail. Everyday people drive down this busy street but hopefully they also stop to take in the beauty of it's city.
